Effluent Treatment Plant

Effluent treatment plant, a process to convert wastewater - which is water no longer needed or suitable for its most recent use - into an effluent that can be either returned to the water cycle with minimal environmental issues or reused. The E.T.P Plants manufactured are done considering the norms of pollution control board.

The used waste acidic water is collected in a collection tank with automatic pH controller.

Here the ph is brought to neutral with the addition of the required chemicals by dosing pump where a coagulating agent is added to it after maintaining the ph. The tank allows suspended particles to settle out of water or wastewater as it flows slowly through the tank, thereby providing purification.

A layer of accumulated solids, called sludge, forms at the bottom of the tank and is periodically removed and filtered with the help of filter press.

Purpose of settling is to remove coarse dispersed phase, to remove coagulated and flocculated impurities, to remove precipitated impurities after chemical treatment, to settle the sludge.

This water is further transferred to a collection tank with aeration.

Here aeration process takes place with the help of a turbine blower to increase the level of oxygen in the water which helps in maintaining the level of bod and cod to the permitted limits.

This water is further pumped through activated carbon and sand filter and finally drained.
